Adversarial Reviews

Five independent, adversarial reviews of the protocol, each from a different discipline. They were written to stress the design, not to defend it, and they directly informed the 2026-07 simplification — see ADR 019 for which recommendations were adopted, deferred, or declined.

• Complexity — is the protocol over-engineered for its stage? What to cut, simplify, or defer.
• Protocol Design — gossip mechanics, relay dependency, volume matching, and the WoT boundary.
• Game Theory — Nash equilibria, cooperative stability, and incentive compatibility of the pact economy.
• Cryptography — key hierarchy, forward-secrecy claims, and the proof-of-storage mechanism.
• Deployment Reality — mobile background execution, app-store constraints, and production feasibility.

These are kept as a historical record; where a review's recommendation conflicts with the current design, the decision records are authoritative.
